Motorcyclist dies after Mount Baldy crash

ONTARIO, Calif. (AP) — Authorities say a motorcyclist who plunged about 150 feet over the side of Mount Baldy has died.

California Highway Patrol Officer Tony Polizzi says the crash happened shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday on Mount Baldy Road just south of tunnel number one.

City News Service reports the victim was airlifted to a hospital, where he died.

The man's age and identity are being withheld.
