Kendall Marshall was given the assignment by coach Mike D'Antoni, who has used 18 different starting lineups this season. The victory snapped a six-game losing streak for the Lakers.
DALLAS (AP) — DeAndre Jordan scored a career-high 25 points to match Blake Griffin, and the Los Angeles Clippers rallied to beat the Dallas Mavericks 119-112 last night after Chris Paul left with a shoulder injury. Jordan and Griffin combined for 10 points on a 16-2 game-closing run to wipe out a 110-103 deficit in the final 4 minutes. Jordan was 11 of 14 from the field and had 18 rebounds, while Griffin added 15 boards.
ATLANTA (AP) — Andre Iguodala hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer, David Lee scored 23 points and the Golden State Warriors won their eighth straight game with a 101-100 victory over the Atlanta Hawks last night. Stephen Curry added 22 points with nine assists and Klay Thompson 21 for Golden State.
STANFORD, Calif. (AP) — Chiney Ogwumike had 33 points and 14 boards to become the Pac-12's all-time leading rebounder, and No. 4 Stanford beat Oregon 96-66 last night in the conference opener for both schools. Bonnie Samuelson came off the bench to match her career best of six 3-pointers on the way to a career-high 21 points.
